If you haven't heard by now, my sister & brother-in-law had their twins last week! Cody Joseph was born on August 3rd at 1:18am. He was 5 lbs. 8 oz., and was 19 1/4":
Lucas Jon was born at 1:20am, and he was 6 lbs. 5 oz. and 19 3/4" long:
Lucas had some minor, preemie-related health issues, and was in the NICU for a bit. All is well now, and he should be discharged tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.
I got to travel down to Spokane to see the boys yesterday. They are so stinkin' cute - and tiny (well, compared to how enormous my kiddos were). I got to spend quite a bit of time getting to know Cody, and I can't wait to spend some quality time with Lucas, too.
Kim and Jon are doing great and are thrilled to be parents. They are calm and incredibly attentive. Those little guys are going to have a great childhood.
