Country Porch

One of the best things about Jordan's folks' place is their fabulous front porch. It's where we sip groggy morning cups of coffee, eat afternoon snacks and watch the playful antics of kids.
Hummingbirds zoom by fighting for bird feeder rights, and the dogs gaze over the valley below.
It's where we escape the piercing sun and take shelter from fierce thunderstorms that sometimes blow through the area.
The best part of being on the porch is the bonds that are forged there. Life's problems and questions are hashed out, and we learn to love each other a little bit more.
The final product (we hope!)
This is the story of our house and farm. Jordan and I designed the house, and Jordan (with the help of family and friends) is building it. It's a "green" house, which means that, wherever possible, the materials we use are natural, local and safe for the environment. Once the house is complete, we will keep you updated on the progress of the farm. We hope you enjoy watching our house, farm and family grow!
