Michigan's Upper Peninsula

To avoid the traffic of Chicago (and to see something new) we decided to drive north through Michigan to the Upper Peninsula.  After crossing the famed Mackinaw Bridge (over 26,000 feet long!), we camped near Munising, home of the famed Pictured Rocks National Park. The Park certainly didn’t disappoint!  We saw some of the famous “castles” made of time-worn rock and hiked to see one of many waterfalls in the area.
