After a long day driving through the rest of New York, Pennsylvania,
Ohio and Michigan, we landed at Amy’s Uncle Randy and Aunt Joy’s house. We spent 5 great days visiting with some of
our favorite people. Aunt Joy took us to
see a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display, and Uncle Randy
helped Thane make a super cool tackle box from wood he’s made on his saw
mill.
On Sunday we went to Amy’s Aunt Kathy’s cottage on the
lake. Most of the cousins and second
cousins were there, and the kids had a blast swimming and inner tubing.
The highlight of the trip for Amy was spending precious time
with Gramma Heydenburg. At 94, Gramma is
still sharp as a tack. We loved catching
up on her news and hearing about life in her younger days.
We’re so grateful for family and our time together. Thanks!
