Lessons Learned

At almost 2 weeks in, Jordan and I decided to take stock of the trip so far.  We’ve learned some valuable lessons.  We’ve decided to nix our more detailed agenda.  There are some incredible places located off the beaten path in our great country, and some of our best adventures have happened during our unscheduled stops.  We’ve also discovered that towing a 35 ft trailer more than 7 hours in one day is just too stressful.  We’re learning that shorter travel with extra time to unwind at campgrounds is far better for all of us.
We’ve had great luck with campgrounds in several states, all of which have been very family friendly.  We are all able to unwind and get some exercise after a weary day in the truck.
