The End of the Tour

There are only a few rooms left that you haven't seen.  The first is the kid's bathroom, which was actually the family bathroom until a few weeks ago when we completed work on the master bath.  The room has sage and purple accents, which come together nicely in this lavender shower curtain.

Lastly, we have the attic, which was just a large storage facility until last year when Jordan divided it into a playroom on one side and a large storage closet on the other.  The kids love playing up here, especially during the gray winter months.  I like it even more because I don't have to look at and help clean up a huge mess of toys in my living room every night!
That's the house.  Pretty remarkable, right?  Jordan has done such an amazing job over the past 5 years (especially when I remember that he was 23 years old when he started!)  Poor guy - he spends long days trying to build a successful business, and then he has to come home and work on home-related projects instead of relaxing.  While we have been content with this lifestyle, the economy has been hit especially hard in this region and construction work has dwindled considerably over the past few years.  Unfortunately, there just isn't enough work here (of any kind!) to keep us going.  This is our main reason for leaving Colville.  As I've said, the house is on the market, and we are planning to move to Maine when it sells.  It will be hard to leave here for sure, but I am incredibly proud of Jordan and all of the blood (literally!), sweat and tears he put into our home.  Love you Babe!
