One of the biggest things that I will miss when we move out of our home is the master suite. Last to be completed, it is definitely the major selling point of the house. The architectural features in the master bedroom include Tudor-inspired beams placed in the walls and a cathedral ceiling. I have some very cool red and white french fabrics to accent the master bedroom, and now I'm so glad that I waited to have these sewn into curtains, bedding and pillows as I don't know what we'll need in our new place.
Next is the walk-in closet, which I featured on the blog a couple years ago. Here's a photo to remind you. (Note that I'm showing a "before" photo as the "after" one is a bit more messy with all of our clothes and junk in it!) Three of the four walls in this room have some type of storage - hanging bars, shelves, etc. It's an organizer's dream!
And lastly, the piece de resistance: the master bath. This was completed just before the house was listed on the market, and we are kicking ourselves for not making this room a priority years ago. It features a large soaking tub,
and a large walk in shower with two shower heads and a tile bench.
Finally, there's a vanity with two sinks and plenty of storage.

Just WOW! Well worth the blood, sweat and tears - even Churchill would agree with the usage of his words!
