Vacation, Lentz-Style

Jordan and the kids got to go on a very special trip this summer.  In late July they drove to Wyoming and met up with Jordan's Dad, his Grampa and our nephew Gunnar for a 4 generation fishing trip in the Big Horn Mountains.
First, they hiked in enough gear and food for their 3 day adventure.  The trek was scenic, taking them through forests and alpine meadows.
They quickly set up camp, and Annabel made a beautiful wild flower arrangement to spiff the site up a bit.  Then it was time for the serious work of fishing for dinner, and Thane & Gunnar were up to the task.  Thank God Papa was there to untangle lines and replace worms that wriggled their way off the hook!
After tranquil nights listening to distant elk squeaking and bugling, the gang would wake up to stunning sunrises.
One day, Jordan took Dad, Gunnar and Annabel on a hike to the top of a mountain across the canyon.  They found some intriguing rock formations at the top.
In the meantime Grampa Frank and Thane elected to spend the afternoon bonding over their mutual love of the outdoors.
By all accounts the trip was a great success, and everyone had a fun time.
