Almost Spring

We've had a good, long winter and are definitely ready for a few days of sunshine.  I know, I know.  April showers bring May flowers - but we could do without the April SNOW!

While we've managed to stay quite busy doing winter chores, even these two have found a few minutes to relax:

Easter was cold, but most of the snow had melted away by then and we did our best to dwell on thoughts of new life.  Here's Thane with his prized Easter belt buckle from Papa & Mama:

Thane and Annabel have both been preoccupied with their Destination Imagination after-school program.  Thane's class performed in front of the entire school - they did a great job!

Annabel, who is in an older bracket of the program, performed at school and then in Bangor at the state competition.  Annabel's group tied for first place, and they have an opportunity to go to the nationals in Tennessee!

Annabel has also been busy in her role as a reporter for the elementary school newspaper, entitled the Gaffney Gazette.
