In a completely unexpected turn of events, the weather for our early Easter this year was amazingly beautiful! The sky was a brilliant blue, and most of the snow had melted away with the balmy 70 degree temperatures. That is unheard of in our neck of the woods.
Of course, we took full advantage of this blessing and spent a warm day in the sunshine. Jordan's folks held their traditional festivities, including a delicious ham dinner and the much anticipated (and highly competitive) Easter egg hunt:
The kids then spent time playing with the sheep and lots of adorable little lambs out in the barnyard. All four cousins enjoy the lambs, and I'm fairly certain that the feeling is mutual!
It was a memorable time. As Thane so loudly expressed as we left for home, "Happy Easter Egg!"
